Google acquired Admob Mobile Marketing Ad Agency worth of $750 million

Google reported that they acquired Admob, a mobile displaying advertising company based in San Mateo, CA worth of $750 million. This acquisition will enhance existing expertise and technology in mobile advertising for Google while also giving advertisers and publishers more choice in this growing new area.

“Mobile advertising is a rapidly growing and competitive space, and Google and AdMob are currently specializing in different areas. Though Google offers many forms of mobile advertising, its focus to date has been on mobile search ads, while AdMob’s focus has been mobile display ads and in-application ads.”

According to the official deal by Google with their acquisition of AdMob, the deal

  • The deal will bring new innovation and competition to mobile advertising, and will lead to more effective tools for creating, serving, and analyzing emerging mobile ads formats.
  • This deal will benefit developers, publishers, and advertisers by improving the performance of mobile advertising, and will provide users with more free or low-cost mobile apps.
  • The mobile advertising space will remain highly competitive, with more than a dozen mobile ad networks. The deal is similar to mobile advertising acquisitions that AOL, Microsoft, and Yahoo have made in the past two years.

Google is rolling out with introducing features in search option and seems that now Google is doing preparation for web 3.0 search technology.  Google introduced Page Preview to Search Option.  Now you can take preview of website with out leaving search tab.

If you click on “Show options” and select “Page previews” after performing a search, Google will show a longer snippet and a thumbnail for each search result. you can see it on below image. (Note: This Feature will show only on US Ip but if you want to check then click below link)

Yahoo also about to launch Real Time Search Engine

TechCrunch reported that Yahoo also about to launch real time search engine. This battle has been started with First Bing announced that they will soon provide real time search results by integrating results of Twitter and Face book, Why Google stay back in this battle so they will also provide real time search results by integrating results of Twitter.

Now time for Yahoo to announce about real time results with integrating twitter and face book but yahoo is come up with different strategy by launching new Real Time Search Engine – OneRiot, as it rumor or real news still don’t know because There is no official announcement for this. But Yahoo! Updated to TechCrunch like:-

“Update: Yahoo’s response: “We can’t comment on rumor or speculation. Real-time search is important and we’re currently conducting several tests designed to discover if showing such content is useful to people using Yahoo! Search. Yahoo! is focused on creating the most innovative, easy-to-use and valuable search experience for people, and after these tests we will carefully evaluate whether we should integrate such results for everyoneusing Yahoo! Search.”

Google is about to launch a Music Services

Google is every where and about to dominate each and every industry by providing services. You can see the many of example such as you tube, Recaptcha, Google, Web Analytics tool and many more.

Now Google is about to launch music services and it will known as Google Audio as we’ve heard from TechCrunch. But thing is that there is no any official announcement form Google. Let’s see how soon this mystery will be resolve either by their official announcement or by declaring this music services as rumors.

This new services will be available for U.S. users, but it isn’t still cleared that it will available for download or streaming services or for both.

If Google is about to launch music services then what kind of services Google will provide either like as Yahoo! Music, which is streaming services with the capability for streaming radio programs or like as Apple iTunes Store is a music downloading site ?

Google Docs updated with new interface and services

Google is working on updates of the features on their services such as web master tool and now Google docs. Google docs are gradually working on improvement along new sharing folder and upload multiple items.

With this new sharing folder feature, you can share whole folder containing group of items or files easily by sharing with teams and groups to collaborate on documents easily. Ones you share a folder, anything that you add in that folder will automatically be shared. if you add somebody to the list of people who can access that folder they can instantly access all the items contained in that folder. This means that you don’t have to share files one by one anymore.

Another update on Google Docs has the “Items Not in Folder.” In addition, here are the instances when files are categorized as such:
•When you create a new item or an item is directly shared to you, it’s in “Items not in folders”.
•When an item is shared to you via a folder, it’s not in “Items not in folders”.
•When you add an item to a folder, it will no longer be in “Items not in folders”.
•When you remove an item from all its folders, it will once again be in “Items not in folders”.

Last but not the least updates is in look of the interfaces like changed color, spacing and improved old “Move to” dialog and new “Folder” dialog which completely gives you control on folder or folders an item is in.
